Top Customer Reviews Best Nike Shoes:

ut of 5 starsMy favorite running shoe for years

I have been running in Nike Flex Run shoes for years now. In my view, these shoes provide the ultimate running experience. The reasons I prefer this shoe over any other are as follows:

1) The model has remained consistent over the years. For at least 5 years there have only been cosmetic changes made to the shoe; the core shoe has remained the same. This is crucial for experienced runners because once we find something that works, we don't want to have to change every time we need a new pair! Thanks, Nike!

2) NO GIMMICKS. No "air" technology. No weird fabrics. No proprietary plastic inserts. No "grids," no "gel," no stupid stuff. No gimmicks. Just a well designed running shoe, so you get all of what you want and none of what you don't.

3) Good support. I have very high arches, and so I always need a good basic shoe structure. The Flex Run delivers. Best of all, the insert is made of form-fitting gel, so after one or two runs, the shoe molds to your foot. Perfect comfort.

4) Excellent balance between light weight and high mileage. This is a hard one to achieve. The Nike Flex Run mostly achieves it, with a slight bias toward being light weight rather than high mileage. Still, I can easily put 500 miles on these shoes before they wear out.

There are no cons to speak of because this is a very basic running shoe. That's what I love about it. Simple, inexpensive, effective.

.0 out of 5 starsGreat shoes and price!

I read a lot of reviews about sizing. They run small. I went with my gut and ordered my usual size 10. They fit like glove. Very comfortable and great for my arched feet. The only thing if you have wide feet these might be too narrow. I love the color and the style. The price was reasonable. I would order another pair!!

4.0 out of 5 starsBeautiful shoe but fits small.

Great shoes! These shoes are so attractive and look like top of the line Nike. The shoe looks well made and the netting on top seems like it will hold up very well. The arch support on these is so great! I have high arches and it is hard to find a shoe that will support and cradle them. The only reason I gave this shoe a 4 star because we had to exchange them for a whole size bigger-the fit is small. I suggest you order a size bigger. They are also pretty narrow.

Size: 9.5 D(M) US | Color: Dark Grey/Black/White/Gym Red | Verified Purchase

To start I'm 5' 7" weighing in around 200-210 lbs and not really built for running but my current occupation requires me to do it almost daily. I purchased theses because I own the older version and those just are not going to last much longer. I bought the same size as my other shoes hoping that they didn't change anything from one to the other.

Pro's
They look amazing
Pass my flexibility test
Fit just as expected

Con's
They have a decent break in period
The arch in the middle was a little to much for me and caused some pain during the break in
